Kickin' Ceilidh Band

Originally hailing from Australia, Brian cut his musical teeth playing with the top Sydney bush dance band - Bluetongue. Since arriving in England he has played in a number of folk/rock dance outfits such as The Cluster of Nuts Band, Nightwatch and currently MoonDance.

Originally from Somerset and based in Gateshead, Alex has been playing accordion since he was 6 years old. Over the years, he has also picked up the bouzouki and cajon and has added them to his instrument selection as well as being a fine singer. He is steeped in social dance and is one of those rare box players who can also call and play at the same time.

One of the leading young dance musicians in the UK, Tom is known for his previous work with Pigeon English and Whapweasel, and currently with Musa Mboob and MoonDance. (website).

Sam learned percussion and drums from Douglas Johnstone and Russell Gair in the Shetland Islands. He played with the young Shetland group "New Tradition" and travelled to European festivals and the Royal Festival Hall in London. Sam also plays with the jazz trio "The Antipodeans", Nordic Tone and has performed and arranged music for many theatrical productions.
